Facing a blank canvas used to be intimidating to me.
Now I see it as a gift.
Painting is my spiritual practice When I listen to my intuition, I am guided without fail. When I can't see the entire picture, I will be guided to the one next step. And then one more. Until something beautiful emerges on the canvas or in my life. To me, they're interchangeable.
Painting has been a journey to self-discovery.
I have been painting for over 20 years. When I started, it was because I wanted to try something new. Then it became an invaluable tool. A way to access my intuition. Painting helped me discover who I am and where I'm going, guiding me through the ups and downs of life. It not only brings me great joy, it always brings me back to my center - no matter what the outside circumstances are...and that is an amazing gift.

I took my first official art class when I was in my twenties, living in Chicago and working in the business world. Since that time, I've had the amazing opportunity to live in several different countries. I took art classes wherever I was and it gave me a great appreciation for different cultures and the many layers that make up every person and every experience.
I believe that beauty exists at the core of everything. It's a matter of looking for it and following inner guidance to find it, fearlessly embracing the journey along the way.
My hope is that my work will evoke an appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us everyday, no matter how or where we live.

SPIRITUALITY
I believe we'll always find the answers we're looking for when we turn inwards and trust our inner guidance. Painting has allowed me to find my center, trust the journey, and find peace with whatever shows up in my life.
DISCOVERY
Discovering something new is something I've always treasured. Whether it's figuring out a new technique on the canvas or taking the time to meet someone new, when I remove judgement and just allow myself to remain open to the experience and trust that everything is as exactly as it should be, it is truly magical.
THE JOURNEY
On the canvas or around the globe- I trust in the journey ahead. To be a good traveler means to not to let plans block the way of intuitive feelings and exploration. With my paintings I find the story through the journey.
